Abstract :
This paper discusses about the design of a multitask membership function generator architecture. The main advantage of the designed circuit which operates in transconductance mode, is the ability of producing all 4 types of waveforms including triangular, trapezoidal, S and Z shapes. The position of the shapes can move horizontally which is another advantage of the designed circuit. Simulation results using HSPICE for standard 0.18μm technology depict the low power consumption of the designed circuit and have conformity with theoretic assumptions.
