Abstract :
One of the possible approaches to deal with non-stationary and non-linear control objects is the localization method. This paper shows how the method can be applied to a one-through boiler model. Appropriate results of direct method application (theoretical results) and technical realization of the method (by using PID controller) are presented. The obtained results show that the method provides possibility to avoid non-stationarity and non-linearity and can be realized by using the PID-controllers.
