Abstract
Repetitive haptic tasks involve constant movement of the user´s hand while interacting with the haptic application. While haptic devices are becoming more prominent, user satisfaction must be studied. Undesired fatigue is one side effect of repetitive tasks which could reduce the overall Quality of Experience (QoE) of a haptic-based application. Fatigue is usually assessed through questionnaire and observation. In this paper, we study the user force profile and examine the trends that are present within the profile after users perform numerous haptic signature tasks. Our results show significant correlation between force profile elements and users´ perceived fatigue.
