Abstract
Cloud computing has evolved as a paradigm shift to deliver computing and storage services on demand to facilitate the consumers. Inter-connecting Cloud computing system components i.e. servers, virtual machines(VMs), application services is essential to exchange information between the services to avoid the problems of provisioning, efficiency bottleneck and single point of failure that are largely associated with traditional centralized systems. This problem becomes huge if we interconnect the components in federated clouds distributed in physically dispersed areas. Distributed Hash Table and tree based data structures play an important role to help communicate cloud computing system components. Tree based data structures are also used as index to perform the search faster. Currently most of the cloud providers use the keyword based search. Multi-attribute search optimizes the search process and also performs the search faster. The paper proposes a Divided KD tree based VM Selection framework in market oriented cloud computing.
