Abstract :
An improved wideband flat characteristic has been obtained using lumped element microwave coupler. The cutoff frequency has been increased by cascading two individual sections of microwave couplers, and the cascading of three individual sections of microwave coupler has further improved the bandwidth. The cutoff frequencies fc for one section, two sections and three section microwave coupler are 573.25 MHz, 810.74 MHz and 859.90 MHz respectively. The results have been verified mathematically and also by means of simulation through Microwave Office of Applied Wave Research (AWR).
