Abstract
Giant cell tumors (GCT) are often treated with curettage followed by defect reconstruction. In this study, curettage of a femoral GCT was simulated on a patient-specific computer model, and the defective femur was converted to a plastic prototype to guide onsite GCT curettage. Three reconstruction methods were simulated to achieve an optimal surgical plan.
