Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the problem of the decentralized robust guaranteed cost control (GCC) for robust stabilization of uncertain linear interconnected multimachine power systems. Sufficient conditions for the existence of guaranteed cost controllers and formulation in a minimization problem are given in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) which resolution yields the decentralized control gain matrices, to ensure the asymptotic stability of the linear uncertain large scale system. The effectiveness of the proposed control technique is demonstrated through numerical simulations on a linear uncertain power system with three interconnected machines, for different cases of perturbations.
