Abstract :
This article deals with relation between radar reflectivity and measured rainfalls recorded by the ground rain gauges in selected stations - Praha-Kbely, Čáslav, Pardubice, Polom, Náméšt´ nad Oslavou and Pferov for the period of 2009-2013. It starts with brief description of data acquisition and processing, followed by methodology for obtaining results for comparison, resulting data, its evaluation and proposal of appropriate corrections or methodology improvements. The article concludes with brief description of results, interpretation of deviations due to meteorological or non-meteorological errors and topics for further studies on improvements to prediction of rainfall estimation.
