Combat damage diagnostics of aircraft surface by optical way

Article deals with possibility of finding aircraft combat damage during the mission. It focuses on the process of automatic image processing, which allows you to detect, locate and identify combat damage of the aircraft. For the aircraft surface scanning is used the CCD camera. The subsequent image processing can locate combat damage and to determine its extent. The surface scanning and image processing of aircraft is only one part of the expected diagnostic system.
