Abstract
The supposed paper deals with airport winter maintenance aimed at optimal application of pavement de/anti-icing materials. It contains the most relevant points with some recommendation to whole winter maintenance concept, organization with emphases on key weak points in the Czech Air Force environment. Finally it rises and clarifies the necessity of pavement temperature measurement.
