Abstract :
The ballistic outcome of the pistol cartridge design is represented by the mass and initial velocity of the projectile mainly. The article tackles the task of determining suitable couple of the two variables in order to recommend design concepts interest area in the particular case of the Air Marshall ammunition under conditions defined by specific requirements on safety and effectivity of use.
