  • Abstract
    The article describes analysis of energetic relations during penetration of pistol bullet through human head substitution. Relation between two essential characteristics of residual wound potential of the bullet after penetration of the head - specific impact energy of the bullet and the depth of bullet penetration into substitute biological material is derived. The general solution of the problem is verified by testing two special police pistol cartridges.
