Abstract
Attitude is an important affective factor that steadily becomes a focus of research in FLL & Teaching. However, little information is now available in China in terms of affective factors and less in attitude within the main academic journals on foreign languages in China. In view of this, this research is unfolded mainly by way of a case report and a questionnaire in the hope of providing an overall view of the faulty learning attitude and ascertaining how it affects FLL & Teaching. It concludes that learning attitude has not been attached importance to by both students and teachers in institutes of higher vocational education, the Way attitude affects learning is like that described by affective filter hypothesis, and that factors affecting learning attitude might include parents, teacher-student relationship and interpersonal relationship.
