Abstract :
In this paper, a new linear flux reversal permanent magnet (FRPM) motor with modular mover is proposed. The proposed linear FRPM motor not only retains the advantages of fault tolerance and reduced permanent magnet (PM) consumption, but also significantly enhances its force density and reduces its force ripple.
