Abstract
Radio-frequency and microwave devices based on ferromagnetic nanowires have recently attracted a lot of research interests, because the phenomenon of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) of nanowires can raise the working frequency of these devices beyond 20 GHz [1-3]. A typical way of tuning the FMR frequency of nanowires is to apply an external magnetic field; however, this way is not practical in micro-device fabrication [4]. In this work, we tuned the high-frequency properties of Co-Ni nanowires through composition modulation, and provided a new approach of tuning FMR frequency by changing the composition and microstructure of Co-Ni nanowires. With the tunable high-frequency properties of Co-Ni nanowires, the working frequency of microwave devices can be adjusted flexibly.
