Abstract
In order to decrease the cost and allow the Permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) control system to continue operating under faulty conditions, the development of fault-tolerant control becomes especially important [1]-[4]. In general, when the fault occurs, the fault-tolerant control can be implemented by the real-time and effective detection, localization, and isolation for faulty switches, which means that the fault detection and fault localization are the basis of the fault-tolerant control.
