Abstract
In this paper, a 5 GHz low noise amplifier (LNA) circuit is developed that accomplishes both wide tuning capability and compact design utilizing novel tunable slow wave transmission lines (SWTLs). SWLT is built with coplanar waveguide having alternative high and low impedance signal sections, and the Permalloy (Py) thin films have been deposited and patterned on the signal line of narrow section to provide higher and tunable inductance density.
