  • Abstract
Mechanical energy wasted due to the vibrations of different types of machine represents an attractive energy source for autonomous sensors systems being a good alternative to batteries, especially in the case when the solar energy is not available. The advantages of the electromagnetic harvesters are the large provided current/voltage and high output power capabilities. There is a growing interest to the concept of the electromagnetic harvester, especially regarding the design, miniaturization, efficiency and output performances optimization.
