Abstract :
In recent years, investigations of layered magnetic systems have become of great interest because artificial multilayer/superlattice materials show many unique characteristics which are distinctly different from those of their bulk counterparts. Much interesting effects have been found in superlattices that consist of alternating layers of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic materials in the case of a ferro- or antiferromagnetic interlayer coupling. Especially, multisublattice magnetic models have been supposed to describe the magnetic properties of rare earth compounds such as R2Fe17, TbMn6Sn6 and R1-xAxMnO3.
