Abstract :
The Tikhonov method is evaluated in this paper for hemodynamic parameters estimation from dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI). The DCE-MRI is used to estimate functional or metabolic parameters which are critical in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cerebrovascular disease and other brain disorders. The effects of signal-noise ratio (SNR) and tracer delay are analyzed. Simulation results show that the deviations of the estimate cerebral blood flow (CBF) values are little in presence of tracer delay, and that SNR has less influence on estimating CBFs.
