Abstract :
This study investigates the ferroelectric and ferromagnetic properties of Pr2NiMnO6/La2NiMnO6 superlattice using first principles calculation with GGA+U method. Ferroelectric polarization is calculated based on Berry phase method. The superlattice show insulating behavior as observed from the electronic density of states. Magnetic moments and spin magnetic density of the superlattice are also determined.
