Abstract :
This study deals with the dynamic magnetic domain observation on the Goss oriented Fe-Ga sheet by Kerr microscropy and reports the direct evidence that its magnetostriction strongly depends on the domain motion.The magnetic domains during the dynamic magnetization process exhibit as the lancet patterns and arrange like combs on the Fe-Ga sheets. Observations indicate that the magnetostrictive performance is closely related with the 90° domain motion in Fe-Ga sheets.
