Abstract :
This research presents biological experiments on the effect of sinusoidal magnetic field stimulation on the regeneration of rat sciatic nerves. The stimulation coil is first designed by FEM calculation and the electromagnetic field distribution induced by this stimulation coil is simulated. Experiment results show that injured peripheral nerves of rats are responsive to magnetic stimulation with optimum intensity and frequency.
