Abstract :
This study investigates the magnetization switching behavior by using single nanodots of epitaxially grown Co/Pt multilayer. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy are used for structural characterization. Magnetization curve of the epitaxial single Co/Pt dots exhibit a rectangular shape, indicating bi-stability of fully up or down magnetized state without any intermediate states.
