Abstract :
This paper presents the development of two-dimensional signal processing method for two-dimensional magnetic recording applications. Motivated by the receiver diversity technique in wireless communication, multiple received signals from the target track with different signal-to-noise ratios are first processed. Afterwards, it will be passed to the equalization and detection, respectively.
