Abstract
Iron loss effect is one of the significant points that must be taken into account when engineers design electric machines. Iron loss is dependent on the material characteristics such as conductivity, permeability, and hysteresis loop. To reduce the iron loss, ferromagnetic material is mixed with impurities and it is laminated to be electrical steel sheets. However, new magnetic materials with higher efficiency and higher performance are still being developed. The magnetic materials such as permalloy and nano-crystalline alloy powder are good examples [1]-[3].
