Abstract
In this paper is presented the simulation of a power system, in which were added renewable energy sources (distributed generators). The simulation is performed with a SCADA software, considering the power generation costs, the renewable energy sources power output and the loads profiles. The generators access the system in order of their power generation cost. The simulation is performed for the whole day in two cases: when the renewable energy sources are not connected to the power system and when the renewable energy sources are connected to the power system. The test system upon the simulation is performed comprises 5 generators and 3 loads.
