Abstract :
One of the main focuses on Heterogeneous environment is to provide seamless Handover performance while switching between different network interfaces. The vertical HO scenario introduces issues related to QoS which affects the connections as well as the applications. This paper identifies different parameters which are responsible for a fruitful handoff process. We also study about the path traversed by the HO decision process and their algorithms and find out the parameters which are useful to make accurate HO decision.
