Title :
A framework for the performance analysis of component based systems
Abstract :
The most considerable challenge in the contemporary software business today is to provide products with high degrees of quality, functionality and performance at a low cost and with a little time to market. The cost and time to the market are the issues for Component Based Systems that have been discussed in the literature. However, solutions to handle quality attributes such as performance, maintainability, reliability, reusability are less addressed since current component technologies lack support to manage high quality. This paper aims at proposing a framework for the efficient performance analysis of Component based system design early in the software development life cycle. The results of application of the framework on a case study of Onine Bookshop Application is also discussed.
