Abstract
The study compares power losses in the construction parts of the cold crucible (inductor, load and segments). The aim of the study is to determine optimum ratio between rectangle segment sides of the cold crucible considering power losses in the segments and load. For the numerical simulation the multi-physic software ANSYS was used.
