Abstract :
In cement clinker production process, raw meal calcination in calciner is a complex physical-chemical process, and the modeling of its quality index (i.e., the decomposition ratio of raw meal, referred to as RMDR) was researched rarely. The larger the value of RMDR, higher is the hourly production rate, and the smaller is the clinker heat consumption. In actual production process, the RMDR is difficult to be measured online, and it can be measured offline once an hour. Therefore, the characteristics of the process can not be analyzed. To solve this difficult problem, a mathematical model has been established by combing mechanism with multirate sampled-data (MSD). The model has been successfully applied to raw meal calcination process, and its effectiveness has been validated.
