Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the realization problem of a class of transfer functions as two-port RC ladder networks with specified gains. First, synthesis of two special subclasses (low-pass and high-pass cases) is investigated, respectively. Furthermore, by making a cascade connection of the above two cases, a general approach was established to realize the class of transfer functions to be investigated as two-port RC ladder networks with any specified gain satisfying a continuous interval. Finally, a numerical example was presented to illustrate the result.
