Abstract :
In this paper, the problem of finite-time stability (FTS) of linear time-varying continuous system with time-delay is investigated. A sufficient condition is proposed for FTS of linear time-delay system in terms of differential linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In order to solve the continuous-time differential LMI within a finite-time interval, a new method is given based on the discretized Lyapunov function technology, which is less conservative than discretizing the time interval approach. Numerical example illustrates the solvability of the given result.
