Abstract :
Firstly this paper analyzes characteristics and working principle of lithium-ion batteries, and illustrates the importance of management for battery equalization. Then the management strategies and ways of battery equalization have been further researched. Finally it designs with the initiative equalization module of battery manage system. Through lots of experiments, the actual measurement data comply with the design requirements. The results prove that the initiative equalization system can keep the batteries equilibrium and prolong the service life of lithium-ion batteries.
