Abstract :
Safety and security of civil aircraft have attracted more and more attention in modern society, especially aero-engine, which is the heart of an aircraft. In this paper, principle component analysis method is introduced to diagnose sensor fault for an aero-engine. In on-line diagnosis stage, the off-line model is utilized to diagnosis offset sensor fault, drift sensor fault and pulse sensor fault. Simulation results illustrate that the PCA-based sensors fault diagnosis method is feasible and effective for aero-engines.
