Abstract :
This paper proposes an optimal transfer trajectory strategy of stratospheric airship in level flight. Based on the vector relation between wind speed and maximized airspeed, the reachability condition of trajectory transfer is drawn. Employing the optimization theory, an optimal trajectory transfer strategy is presented. Energy consumption and transfer time adopting above optimal conclusion are calculated. A specific numeric example is provided.
