Abstract :
Quasi-periodic orbits near L2 point are unstable in the Earth-Moon system, which is necessary to be controlled by stationkeeping strategy. This paper studies the orbit design for Earth-Moon system and stationkeeping problem. First, the quasi-periodic Halo orbit is given with multiple shooting method. Then, a new method is presented that uses the Gauss Pseudospectral Method(GPM) for stationkeeping. In the proposed strategy, GPM is used to compute control variables and control spacecraft to the target point within finite time. Simulations indicate that the proposed strategy based on GPM can apply to stationkeeping effectively. Compared with previous method in different parameters, the proposed method can significantly reduce the fuel consumption.
