Abstract :
In this paper, a novel simulation method was adopted to assess reliability of giant-wind-farm electrical system. Through the analysis of the system in detail, factors of influence on planning reliability can be summarized and then, the corresponding mathematical model is established. After that, the Monte Carlo simulation method was adopted to assess the reliability of the wind farm electrical system. By the evaluating procedure, the evaluation method is proved practical.
