Abstract :
Microwave heating is an advance heating technology because the energetic interest of microwaves. The modelling technique is a useful approach to describe the microwave heating process for the control system to avoid the thermal runaway. The “white box” model and “grey box” model have been studied for several years, which are still can not offer a useful model for the real time control of the microwave heating system. A black-box system identification based on an autoregressive exogenous (ARX) model is presented in this paper. Several experiments with different prediction horizons are carried out, the simulations results show that the ARX model can precisely describe input and output relationship of the microwave heating process.
