Abstract :
Railway turnout is playing a key role in railway infrastructure. It is directly related to the train operation safety. Our turnout close condition monitoring technology is still belongs to the starting stage, and the method to check the turnout close condition is still depending on patrolling the turnout by workers periodically or non-periodically. According to the problems in the information collection of the turnout close condition, this paper introduces magnetostrictive technology to design displacement sensor, which is used to collect the information of turnout close condition. This paper also establishes the diagnosis and predictive model and proved that the proposed model is practical and effective based on the results of the analysis showed by the experimental study.
