Abstract
This paper proposes an actuator channel setting strategy for ship information systems. We present a sufficient condition for plant reachability in given steps to determine the activity channel quantity. Under this condition, task execution time of actuator is considered in setting strategy which can be used in the determination of stubborn actuator and compliant actuator for farther optimized design. An example about actuator channel setting strategy in ship motion control mission is shown as well. The strategy we designed has ability to improve the redundancy of SIS and save communication resource by reducing the activity actuator channels.
