Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to present insight about the contents and topics to be covered in a Signal Integrity graduate-level course. Special emphasis is paid to pointing out the importance of carefully teaching the key concepts associated with transmission lines and how these concepts can be extended to more complex structures and devices for several applications. The prerequisite courses are discussed, as well as the most relevant industry-oriented topics currently in this discipline.
