Abstract :
The design and development of a voltage disturbance generator is presented in this paper. The generator was designed and constructed to fulfill the power quality immunity tests required for voltage sags-dips testing, but it has capabilities for voltage swells, interruptions, voltage fluctuations and flicker as well. The generator functional parts are described, along with the design criteria and the operational specifications. Immunity test were carried out to illustrate the generator capabilities.
