Abstract
Geodemographic transformations provide a temporal perspective about the demographic and geographic processes on a certain area and on the population in that area. In order to get a better understanding of those transformations and a comprehensive characterization between the two main components of a geodemographic system, new and better visualization tools and methods are required. Moreover, is required a data driven approach in exploring the evolution and transformation of those processes. In this paper we analyze the new methods and visualisation tools, and discuss how can be applied to our problem. This serves the dual purpose of helping understand the geodemographic transformations and provide a more comprehensive view of population in a comprehensible manner.
