Abstract :
Spaghetti-like process models are part of the lowest level of process models [5]. These are process models difficult to interpret, to understand by the human beings. There has been no effort so far for optimizing these process models. The processes need to be understood by somebody, simplified and only after that apply some optimization algorithms. This paper proposes a novel method to enable the optimization of spaghetti-like process models. The algorithm proposed separates the spaghetti process model into multiple process models using the process execution data.
