Abstract
This article gives a brief description of the problem you have in the development of spatial skills, and the use of new practices based on implementation of ICT (Information and Communication) in Higher Education. Initially the main types of intelligence described in the literature and the different spatial ability are described. Subsequently a dissertation about the usefulness of the development of spatial skills in the design process and knowledge generation within the academic and professional development in engineering is done. A diagnosis of the state of students in terms of spatial skills and their characterization is performed. Finally the evaluation of different techniques were applied to a group of students is shown, showing its effectiveness and acceptance.
