Abstract
Prevailing trends in thin and light, high resolution, and added functionality such as touch sensing, continue to drive innovation. While display volumes grow, so do consumers´ need for portability, enhanced optical performance, and mechanical reliability. Technical advancements in glass design and process have enabled display innovations in these areas while supporting industry growth. Opportunities for further innovation remain open for glass manufacturers to drive new applications, enhanced functionality, and increased demand.
