Abstract :
This paper proposes a calibration method for a 3-axis probe for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing including its uncertainty evaluation. Initially, the proposed calibration system for a 3-axis probe is demonstrated. Then, electromagnetic field theory is applied to the system in order to determine the incident electric field at the probe. Finally, the uncertainty evaluation, an important measurement quantity for calibration, is calculated.
