  • Abstract
    Hybrid hot-spotting and optimization method is proposed to make a quick assessment on the radiated emission compliance of the printed circuit boards (PCBs) based on the phaseless near-field measurement. The maximum radiated emission from PCB is mainly due to the dominant hot-spotted dipoles whose moment components are determined from particle swarm optimization procedure. The proposed method allows efficient prediction of far-field radiated emission compliance in a wide frequency range with computational simplicity and acceptable accuracy. The presented results demonstrate its efficiency and feasibility.
