Abstract :
This paper presents the simulation results with commercial Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software to improve the low frequency gain (from 80 MHz to 200 MHz) of a small dual stacked log periodic dipole array antenna. The practical results of the improved small dual stacked log-periodic dipole array antenna are presented as well. The both results prove that this improved LPDA is able to apply to the immunity testing for automotive components and sub-system and has a good performance in E-field characteristic from 80 MHz.
